A Note from the Founder & Owner
While I was a caregiver for my father as he coped with Parkinson’s disease and failing eyesight, I personally learned the need seniors have for quality and caring assistance. It was a challenge to find caring, compassionate people to help with transportation to appointments, read the newspaper to him, prepare his lunch, and provide my mother a needed break.
Because of this experience with my father, I am passionate about addressing the non-medical concerns of seniors and their families - especially their desire to live at home as long as possible with quality care.
After receiving professional training and volunteering for Hospice Caring, I opened ElderCaring in Maryland in 2001. The result is an organization that specializes in elder care and whose standards exceed those of any other such company in the Washington area.
I personally meet with every family to discuss options, identify needs, and provide recommendations to fit your requirements. With care and concern,
we personally match you with a caregiver from our registry. Speaking for all of us here at ElderCaring, we consider it a privilege to be able to help you.
